About Jason Lyman

Being an artist and designer I love living in Utah. The Salt Lake valley is full of inspiration and beauty. The Wasatch mountains are just minutes from my home and family and we enjoy going there to camp, hike and fish. There is something very relaxing about a clear mountain lake at sunrise that just seems to push everything else aside.

I have enjoyed producing and creating art since I was young. Mostly creating my own comic book characters and even producing a local comic with some friends while in high school and college. I also enjoy doing life drawings, especially portraiture. It is a really gratifying thing to produce a sketch or drawing that is recognizable to the subject themselves. Illustration was my area of focus while attending Southern Utah University in Cedar City, UT.

My journey into computer graphics began in the year 2001 when I attended Utah Career College in West Jordan, UT. The program there gave me a great base from which to branch out and grow. While there I recieved training in the basic software and hardware that is usually used in the design industry. Since then I have increased my knowledge in each of those areas and continued to learn new and exciting things that assist me to create designs and artwork.

In my spare time I enjoy riding motorcycles, reading fantasy and science fiction, writing and keeping up my martial arts.
